About The Position

PrismHR is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer with 12+ years of experience to design, build, test, and maintain core software applications that power its customer-facing businesses. The engineer will collaborate with internal product teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. As part of an engineering team, the role follows software development and code-management best practices, performs code and security reviews, conducts integration testing, and implements established DevOps procedures to support reliable software delivery. The position involves designing and developing efficient, scalable software; applying object-oriented principles; maintaining code quality; troubleshooting application and production issues; and supporting application performance, reliability, and scalability. The engineer also provides technical expertise during planning and design discussions and contributes to collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development.

Requirements

12+ years of experience with C# and object-oriented programming methodologies.
5+ years of experience with the ASP.NET Framework, including ASP.NET Core.
5+ years of experience with modern front-end JavaScript frameworks and component libraries, such as Angular, React, or Vue.
5+ years of SQL database development experience, including Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
Experience developing solutions using Azure serverless technologies, including Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps.
Strong understanding of RESTful services and API development technologies.
Experience designing, developing, and consuming APIs.
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), or other Agile frameworks.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration across teams.

Nice To Haves

Angular development experience is preferred.
Experience with Azure API Management (API Gateway), Azure SQL Database, and Azure App Services.
Experience building and supporting cloud-native applications in Azure environments.
Strong understanding of scalable application architecture and modern software engineering practices.
