About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will play a key role in architecting systems, implementing back-end services, conducting code reviews, and optimizing performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.

Requirements

Strong foundation in Computer Science
Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Programming, with emphasis on Laravel PHP
Experience with Relational Databases (MySQL preferred)
Hands-on experience with Laravel queues
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
Must be a U.S. citizen (born or naturalized)
Must be able to obtain a federal badge
Must pass a federal background check including financial records

Nice To Haves

Experience in the insurance industry
Experience in AWS using CloudFormation
