About The Position

Applied Intuition is hiring a Senior Software Engineer specializing in frontend engineering and design systems. The role will set how teams build, share, and ship user interfaces across a growing range of products, making it faster and more consistent for teams to develop UI-heavy libraries and tools. The engineer will also help shape interfaces for AI-driven, dynamically generated experiences. The position calls for independent ownership of problems from initial design through production, technical leadership, and support for the engineers around them. The company encourages using AI agents while maintaining a strong focus on code quality. The role owns the architecture, evolution, and adoption of the design system and shared component libraries. It develops standardized tooling, templates, and build and distribution workflows; partners with product engineering teams to turn frontend needs and feedback into reusable, documented solutions; and collaborates with product and system designers. It also establishes scalable frontend foundations, explores frameworks for dynamic AI-assisted interfaces, contributes significantly to design documents, drives technical decisions, and mentors engineers. Applied Intuition is an in-office company. Full-time employees are expected to work primarily from an Applied Intuition office five days a week, with flexibility for occasional remote work and schedule adjustments. The company is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, and has offices in several locations in the United States and internationally.
