About The Position

Aras is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of the platform and platform applications that power Aras Innovator. The role covers components across on-premises and SaaS environments and involves maintaining reliable, scalable, performant, and secure software. The engineer will work across projects and technical domains, adapt to changing business priorities, and balance platform investments with customer requests and operational needs. The role includes participating in DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and cloud deployments. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, investigate and resolve customer-reported issues and production defects, and independently analyze problems and drive solutions with minimal supervision. AI-assisted tools are used to support development, troubleshooting, reviews, documentation, and learning, while maintaining code quality and security.

Requirements

6–8+ years of experience in commercial software development.
Experience with Customer Switching.
Experience effectively using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude.
Ability to incorporate AI tools into daily development workflows while maintaining high standards of code quality and security.
Strong expertise in C#/.NET.
Solid understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL.
Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, clean architecture, and design patterns.
Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with HTTP-based standards such as OData.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency, spoken and written.

Nice To Haves

Experience with client-side or frontend development.
Experience building and operating cloud-based systems; Azure is preferred.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS or Azure Container Apps), and Helm.

Use AI tools to accelerate development, troubleshooting, code reviews, documentation, and learning.
