About The Position

As a Data Engineer, you will develop and optimize data pipelines and architectures that support Data & AI initiatives and enable models to deliver insights. You will help shape digital healthcare through data-driven innovation, building robust data solutions using cloud-native and Big Data technologies. The role involves designing scalable systems, supporting data needs across teams, applying CI/CD practices, and improving data-system performance, scalability, and security.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field, including expertise in ingesting and processing large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with Azure public cloud platforms, including working knowledge of services such as Databricks or Apache Spark.
• Skills in Big Data technologies such as Kafka or Flink, and SQL for analytics.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Working experience with GitHub and DevOps.
• Motivation to work in an innovative environment and learn and apply best practices for cloud-native systems and distributed architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high-performing data pipelines and optimize the data architecture.
• Build and deploy cloud-native solutions using Azure Data Services, Databricks, and other Big Data technologies.
• Collaborate across teams to understand and support their data needs and ensure the data architecture supports current and future initiatives.
• Apply CI/CD practices in Data Analytics projects to streamline development and deployment.
• Continuously optimize performance, scalability, and security in data systems.
