Join Cisco’s Splunk Integrated Core Platform team to help shape the architecture of authorization infrastructure powering Splunk’s enterprise observability and security platform. The Authorization team designs high-performance services that establish trust and enforce authorization across interconnected systems, using attribute-based and role-based access control to support complex enterprise environments. The team works with a substantial C++ codebase and an evolving Go-based, cloud-native architecture. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Splunk Platform Authorization team, you will help architect systems that provide secure, high-performance authorization across Splunk’s enterprise platform. You will own technically complex initiatives, make design decisions, and work across engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. This hands-on technical leadership role involves influencing long-term platform architecture while contributing directly to the development and evolution of core systems. The role is remote in the United States, with a strong location preference for areas other than California, Washington, DC, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Virginia, and Alaska. The application window is expected to close on October 30, 2026.
