About The Position

Erias Ventures is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the ANSWERLAKE project, a backend system that provides compliant storage and access for analytic results and APIs supporting enterprise outcomes. The role involves designing, developing, maintaining, and operating ANSWERLAKE, which is positioned to integrate with organizations’ analytic systems and presentation tools. The position may allow partial telework and requires a current Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance for this position.

Requirements

Twenty years of experience as a Systems Engineer (SE) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Demonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
A current Top Secret/SCI security clearance with polygraph; candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a clearance under this position.
A bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university; five additional years of SE experience may substitute for the degree.
Experience using the Linux command-line interface.
Experience developing microservices using Java and Spring.
Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and containerd.
Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
Experience using system monitoring tools, including Grafana and Prometheus.
Experience using Git for version control.

Nice To Haves

Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery principles and tools such as GitLab CI and ArgoCD.
Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch for data indexing and retrieval.
Experience with NiFi for dataflow management and ingestion.
Experience with the Amazon HCI platform.
Strong debugging, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment and on a multidisciplinary team.
