About the position
Bombas is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to the maintenance and development of their Core Infrastructure. The role involves monitoring system performance, implementing new tooling for engineers, and streamlining the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in Core Infrastructure or related functions. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely within the Tri-State area or at Bombas HQ in New York City.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining Bombas' existing infrastructure
- Expanding automation and standardization of tooling to improve engineering processes
- Working across engineering teams to ensure resilient, observable, and secure systems
- Evaluating new technical solutions to facilitate delivery of the Core Infrastructure roadmap
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working with Core Infrastructure or related functions
- Building and maintaining Bombas' existing infrastructure
- Expanding automation and standardization of tooling to improve engineering processes
- Working across engineering teams to ensure resilient, observable, and secure systems
- Evaluating new technical solutions to facilitate delivery of the Core Infrastructure roadmap

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
