Senior Software Engineer - Backend

The role of Backend Engineer at Titan involves maintaining and expanding the trading and account management infrastructure to support a large number of clients and transactions. The engineer will work on core systems, such as adding support for new financial products, building an automated portfolio management system, and ensuring the stability and security of Titan's systems. Collaboration with other teams, such as design and product, is also important to deliver exceptional experiences in the financial product. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, experience with real-time external APIs, a desire for continuous improvement, and a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.

• Maintain and extend the trading and account management infrastructure
• Support and delight tens of thousands of clients transacting millions of dollars a day
• Add support for new financial products and account types
• Build an automated portfolio management system
• Handle thousands of daily messages to keep accounts in sync
• Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of Titan's systems
• Work cross-functionally with design, product, and customer experience teams
• Use JavaScript/TypeScript to build applications
• Work with complex, real-time external APIs
• Continuously improve and strive for personal growth
• Collaborate with subject matter experts from across the company
• Act with responsibility and integrity as a fiduciary of clients' best interests

• Strong technical background with > 5 years building applications using JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience working with complex, real-time external APIs
