Senior Software Engineer - Backend

The job overview for this role is that the company, Titan, is seeking a Backend Engineer to maintain and extend their trading and account management infrastructure. The engineer will be responsible for supporting and delighting the company's clients, who transact millions of dollars a day. They will work closely with Engineering Management and other team members to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of Titan's systems. The engineer will also collaborate with design, product, and customer experience teams to deliver unique experiences in the financial product.

• Maintain and extend the trading and account management infrastructure
• Support and delight tens of thousands of clients transacting millions of dollars a day
• Add support for new financial products and account types
• Build an automated portfolio management system
• Handle thousands of daily messages to keep accounts in sync
• Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of Titan's systems
• Work cross-functionally with design, product, and customer experience teams
• Use JavaScript/TypeScript to build applications
• Work with complex, real-time external APIs
• Continuously improve and strive for personal growth
• Collaborate with subject matter experts from across the company
• Act with responsibility and integrity as a fiduciary of clients' best interests

• Strong technical background with > 5 years of experience building applications using JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience working with complex, real-time external APIs
