Senior Software Engineer - Backend

As a Backend Engineer at Titan, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding our trading and account management infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include supporting and satisfying the needs of our large client base, managing millions of dollars in transactions daily. You will work closely with Engineering Management and other team members to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of our systems. Additionally, you will collaborate with design, product, and customer experience teams to deliver innovative and delightful experiences in the financial product space. We are seeking someone with a strong technical background, experience with real-time external APIs, and a passion for continuous improvement.

• Maintain and extend the trading and account management infrastructure
• Support and delight tens of thousands of clients transacting millions of dollars a day
• Add support for new financial products and account types
• Build an automated portfolio management system
• Handle thousands of daily messages to keep accounts in sync
• Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of Titan's systems
• Work closely with Engineering Management and other members of the engineering team
• Collaborate with design, product, and customer experience teams to deliver delightful experiences
• Use JavaScript/TypeScript to build applications
• Work with complex, real-time external APIs
• Continuously improve skills and contribute to the growth of Titan
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with subject matter experts from across the company
• Act with responsibility and integrity as a fiduciary of clients' best interests

• A strong technical background including > 5 years building applications using JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Experience working with complex, real-time external APIs.
