About The Position

As a Senior Social Media Manager at Fingerpaint, you will lead the tactical development and execution of social media initiatives for a portfolio of pharmaceutical and health and wellness clients. You will contribute to paid and organic social media activations, associated optimizations, social listening, reporting, and audience research while ensuring alignment with broader brand goals. You will work closely with media and digital strategists to develop cohesive social strategies that elevate how brands show up for patient, caregiver, and HCP communities. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a proven ability to mentor junior team members within a fast-paced agency environment. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in managing paid and organic social media campaigns, preferably within a pharmaceutical or health & wellness agency.
  • Demonstrated managerial experience with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
  • Direct experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a solid understanding of the regulatory environment and Medical Legal and Regulatory (MLR) submissions.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Meta Ads Manager is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and budget management, and PowerPoint for client presentations.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to assess complex performance data to guide the development of insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to thoroughly and effectively QA campaigns, budget workbooks, and other client deliverables.
  • Direct experience or interest in social media content strategy, including overseeing the development of engaging, social-first content for pharmaceutical clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate strategic concepts and performance results clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong working knowledge of other major social platform ad managers is preferred.
  • Knowledge of social listening tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Understands and manages the execution of paid and organic social media activations across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter).
  • Responsible for executing day-to-day planning, management, and optimizations of paid social media campaigns, including set-up, deployment, and pacing.
  • Leads the development of campaign objectives and tactical approaches that ladder up to larger strategic imperatives and brand goals.
  • Manages social listening initiatives and audience research to identify patient and HCP perspectives, barriers, and consumption habits.
  • Trains, manages, and mentors junior social media team members (Associates and Managers), ensuring their professional growth and the accurate completion of client deliverables.
  • Oversees budget management, campaign performance, and the tracking of financial documents, proactively identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Conducts comprehensive analysis of performance data to develop and present analytics reports that clearly articulate insights and strategic adjustments to clients.
  • Contributes to agency POVs and team thought leadership, proactively identifying and solving problems to improve processes and efficiencies.
