About The Position

Carolina Spiral & Duct Fabrication, LLC is hiring a Senior Shop Fabricator to support its growth. The role focuses on fabricating specialty orders, helping develop and cross-train fabricators, coordinating completed orders with shipping and receiving, reviewing or processing fabrication drawings when needed, and maintaining and repairing equipment. The position requires a flexible schedule that includes days and some weekends, and involves physical shop work and exposure to varied environmental and equipment conditions.

Requirements

• Be able to work a flexible schedule, including days and some weekends.
• Present yourself in a professional manner.
• Be able to work with a variety of tools, follow directions, and read and write.
• Be able to operate a forklift.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Successfully pass a background check and drug test.
• Meet the role's physical demands, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and constant lifting up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of HVAC or construction.
• CAD knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate specialty orders.
• Teach and cross-train fabricators.
• Work with shipping and receiving to ensure orders are complete and ready for delivery.
• Assist with reviewing or processing drawings submitted for fabrication when needed.
• Diagnose equipment issues, source parts, and repair equipment as needed.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance according to the provided PM schedule.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Company.
