•$86,320 - $186,160

About The Position

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital’s Center for In Vivo Imaging and Therapeutics (CIVIT) provides state-of-the-art imaging expertise, preclinical model development, and advanced technical support for investigator-led research. CIVIT offers advanced preclinical imaging services using MRI, PET/CT, CT, IVIS, and radiation research technology. The Preclinical Diagnostic Imaging team is seeking an industrious, self-motivated Scientist to support basic research and drug efficacy studies in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The role supports translational research and assessment of therapeutic opportunities through preclinical imaging. It involves planning and conducting imaging studies, establishing and standardizing protocols, coordinating experimental expectations and technical needs with faculty, training staff, and implementing image-analysis methods. Significant experience planning and conducting preclinical imaging studies, including knowledge of advanced MRI techniques and sequences, is required. Excellent communication and detailed record-keeping are important. The position may be filled at the Scientist or Senior Scientist level. A bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific area is required for either level.
