Senior SAP MM & PP functional Consultant - Remote
About The Position
The Senior SAP MM & PP Functional Consultant will work with the consulting team and global project team on a client project involving large-volume order processing. The consultant will evaluate solution options, confirm them with the business, and make recommendations. Responsibilities also include creating detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts; assisting with implementation of the deployment plan in the USA; and supporting knowledge transfer to provide consulting solutions that help clients meet changing global needs. The role also involves leading SAP MM and PP implementations and optimizing supply chain processes for enterprise clients. The consultant will configure and customize Material Management and Production Planning modules, translate business requirements into SAP solutions, advise on SAP R/3 ERP best practices, conduct testing and user training, support go-live, and troubleshoot complex SAP issues to improve system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive specialty experience may substitute for each year of education.
- At least 10 years of Information Technology experience.
- At least 6–10 years of hands-on SAP MM and PP experience.
- Experience on a minimum of 2–3 implementation projects; multiple SAP implementation project experience is also specified.
- Strong configuration, enhancement, and support experience with SAP MM and PP modules.
- Strong knowledge of SAP R/3 ERP/ECC and S/4HANA versions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- The position may require travel to project or client locations.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is also specified.
Nice To Haves
- SAP S/4HANA experience.
- SAP certification in MM or PP modules.
- Experience with SAP Fiori applications.
- Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules, including FI/CO and SD.
- Previous consulting or client-facing experience.
