About The Position

The Config Team is hiring a senior, customer-facing SAP AMS Support Consultant to manage and deliver day-to-day client requirements, including service requests, incident resolution, and problem management in line with ITIL methodology and service level agreements. The role involves leading complex changes, contributing to project delivery, resolving challenging issues, and improving SAP-related processes. As a subject-matter expert, the consultant will work closely with customers and colleagues across delivery teams and support less-experienced team members through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing. Strong knowledge of SAP PP and SAP MM is needed to support clients effectively.

Requirements

• Functional experience within SAP PP.
• Good knowledge of processes and best-practice principles within the specialist SAP area.
• Background in an SAP support or SAP AMS environment.
• Demonstrable problem-solving ability in SAP.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders in a support environment.
• A full, valid UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Nice To Haves

• Functional and/or configuration experience within SAP SD and SAP MM.
• Experience using or implementing mobile solutions in SAP ITS or a third-party product with SAP.
• Ability to investigate issues and bugs.
