Senior Sales Executive

Nuix•None, MO
•Remote

About The Position

Nuix is hiring multiple Senior Sales Executives to grow enterprise business across assigned territories. Nuix develops software that helps governments, corporations, and law enforcement agencies investigate, analyze, and understand digital information at scale. This is a full-cycle, platform-focused sales role involving complex software and SaaS agreements, extended procurement processes, and engagement with both technical users and executive decision-makers. The Senior Sales Executive operates as an autonomous senior individual contributor, owning a territory and building a healthy pipeline. The role requires commercial acumen, a consultative approach to solving complex business problems, and the ability to manage long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles to consistent outcomes. The successful candidate coordinates internal teams—including pre-sales, legal, and customer success—to support customer engagements and close high-value deals. The role is 100% remote unless the employee is within commuting distance of Nuix's Reston, Virginia, or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania offices, in which case it is hybrid.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success selling complex enterprise software or SaaS platforms with extended sales cycles.
  • A consistent track record of closing high-value, multi-stakeholder enterprise agreements.
  • Experience selling a platform as a strategic investment rather than selling individual products or modules.
  • Practical fluency in a structured sales qualification methodology, such as MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, Challenger, or an equivalent framework.
  • Experience qualifying, advancing, and closing enterprise opportunities spanning multiple quarters or financial years.
  • Ability to sell credibly to practitioners, technical evaluators, and senior executives.
  • Experience navigating large organizations and adapting sales approach, language, and value proposition to stakeholders at different levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior sales experience in government, law enforcement, regulatory, or national security sectors.
  • Familiarity with public-sector procurement frameworks, security-clearance environments, and government agency buying dynamics.
  • Working knowledge of eDiscovery, digital forensics, compliance, or investigative workflows.
  • Ability to discuss data collection, processing, review, and production in legal or investigative contexts.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a defined territory of enterprise accounts across government, corporate, and commercial sectors.
  • Develop and execute an annual territory plan targeting new customers and expansion within existing accounts to achieve sustained revenue growth.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial qualification through contract execution and handover.
  • Apply a structured sales qualification methodology, such as MEDDPICC, to assess opportunities, build stakeholder consensus, and advance complex deals through procurement.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships and engage decision-makers at all levels of target organizations.
  • Position Nuix as a strategic platform partner rather than a point-solution provider.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline sufficient in quality and volume to meet or exceed quota.
  • Keep opportunity data and forecasts accurate and current in the CRM.
  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations, develop proposals that reflect the platform's value, and negotiate terms that protect margin and support long-term customer relationships.
  • Coordinate pre-sales engineers, product specialists, and executive sponsors throughout sales engagements to strengthen the business case and address technical or commercial objections.
