About The Position

Documo is seeking a driven Senior Sales Development Representative (Sr. SDR) to be the initial point of contact in their go-to-market strategy. The role involves researching and engaging with prospects in the healthcare and health tech sectors to generate qualified meetings for Account Executives. This position is viewed as a launchpad for career advancement, with opportunities to move into closing roles such as SMB Representative or Account Executive. Documo emphasizes investment in employee growth and career progression. The position is fully remote, open to candidates across the U.S., with work hours aligned to Eastern Standard Time business hours.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or a customer-facing B2B role (SaaS experience preferred).
  • Comfort with high-volume outbound activity and resilience in the face of rejection.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft personalized outreach.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement tools like Outreach, SalesLoft, or Apollo.
  • Experience with prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator or ZoomInfo.
  • Ability to stay organized and accountable in a fully remote environment.
  • Coachability and curiosity, particularly when learning about complex or technical products.
  • Technical comfort to confidently discuss APIs, HIPAA compliance, and cloud solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling into healthcare, finance, or other regulated industries.
  • Background in cloud fax, document management, or health IT.
  • Salesforce certification or formal sales training (e.g., Sandler, Challenger, MEDDICC).
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota as an SDR or BDR.

Responsibilities

  • Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound outreach via cold calls, personalized emails, and social selling.
  • Qualify leads using frameworks such as BANT or MEDDIC to assess prospect fit and business needs.
  • Book and hand off qualified discovery meetings and demos to Account Executives.
  • Maintain an updated Salesforce CRM with accurate activity, pipeline, and lead status.
  • Provide feedback to the Marketing team regarding lead quality and messaging effectiveness.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Documo's product suite (cloud fax, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), eSign, API integrations) to engage prospects effectively.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly metrics for calls, emails, meetings booked, and pipeline generation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscapes within healthcare and other regulated verticals.
