About The Position

The Senior Sales Associate is a sales-focused leader who drives personal sales while supporting daily store operations, compliance, and safety. The role supports Store Leadership by owning opening and closing routines, operational processes, and in-store execution while delivering a strong customer experience. The position is full-time, non-exempt, and hourly.

Requirements

1–2 years of retail sales or customer service experience.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex compliance procedures.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.

Specialty retail experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with Range USA standards.
Review KPIs and coach the team to expectations based on the data.
Achieve or exceed individual and store sales metrics for firearms, memberships, classes, and promotions.
Build customer relationships and increase basket size through product knowledge and recommendations.
Execute daily operational tasks, including opening and closing procedures, register management, and cash reconciliation.
Produce and maintain daily operational documents, including store metrics, huddle notes, and schedules.
Support inventory flow, merchandising, and advertising set execution to maintain visual standards.
Maintain overall store cleanliness and organization.
Ensure strict adherence to firearm safety protocols for customers and staff.
Maintain compliance with ATF regulations, including accurate execution of Form 4473 and background checks.
Safeguard confidential information and ensure processes meet regulatory standards.
Ensure range readiness, safety, and cleanliness.
Validate and escalate parts requirements to the ASL when needed.
