About The Position
The Senior Sales Associate is a sales-focused leader who drives personal sales while supporting daily store operations, compliance, and safety. The role supports store leadership by managing opening and closing routines, operational processes, and in-store execution while delivering a high-quality customer experience. The associate is expected to demonstrate Range USA’s values: curiosity, passion, doing things right, and service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1–2 years of retail sales or customer service experience; specialty retail experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex compliance procedures.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service in line with Range USA standards.
- Review KPIs and coach team members to expectations based on the data.
- Meet or exceed individual and store sales metrics for firearms, memberships, classes, and promotions.
- Build customer relationships and increase basket size through product knowledge and recommendations.
- Complete daily operational tasks, including opening and closing procedures, register management, and cash reconciliation.
- Produce and maintain daily operational documents, including store metrics, huddle notes, and schedules.
- Support inventory flow, merchandising, and advertising set execution to maintain visual standards.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
- Ensure customers and staff follow firearm safety protocols.
- Maintain compliance with ATF regulations, including accurate completion of Form 4473 and background checks.
- Protect confidential information and ensure processes meet regulatory standards.
- Ensure the range is ready, safe, and clean.
- Validate and escalate parts requirements when needed.
