About The Position

Guitar Center is seeking a music-loving Senior Sales Associate to create an engaging customer experience, generate sales, and support the store team. The role combines customer service, product expertise, sales, merchandising, store operations, and peer leadership. As a keyholding team member, the Senior Sales Associate may open and close the store as needed. The position requires flexibility to work additional hours, nights, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment where customers can explore their musical interests and help them find suitable instruments and gear.
• Meet and exceed sales targets by recommending relevant instruments, accessories, and complementary products.
• Maintain expert knowledge of store products, including instruments and recording equipment, and help improve colleagues’ product knowledge.
• Build strong customer relationships and support other Associates in developing customer relationships and serving the local music community.
• Organize displays, restock shelves, and maintain the store.
• Guide and mentor team members, supporting them with customer interactions and operational tasks.
• Open and close the store as needed as a keyholding team member.
