About The Position
The Senior Sales Associate works to consistently achieve individual sales goals in support of store sales and profit objectives, provide superior customer service, and take on other senior-level responsibilities within the store. The role generates sales, promotes Music & Arts lessons, develops business and customer relationships, and participates in store operations. It also includes maintaining store security and performing additional duties as assigned. Music & Arts is a music retailer focused on helping people experience the enjoyment of playing instruments. The company is part of the Guitar Center enterprise and has more than 225 retail stores, over 200 educational representatives, and 250+ affiliate locations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of relevant work experience.
- Skilled knowledge of musical instruments and written music.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales to exceed personal sales goals.
- Promote the Music & Arts lesson program.
- Create business by networking with teachers, schools, churches, and community organizations.
- Develop customer relationships and deliver compelling sales presentations based on sales training.
- Provide outstanding customer service to every customer.
- Promote customer loyalty.
- Participate in all areas of store operations, including merchandising, displays, and maintenance.
- Maintain store security, including perimeter door keys, register keys, and personal alarm code.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
