About The Position
Accenture Construct is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to join their team. This role involves developing and implementing risk management frameworks, strategies, and governance processes for large-scale capital projects such as data centers, power grids, rail networks, and public infrastructure. The position requires proactive risk identification, assessment, and mitigation throughout all project phases, utilizing qualitative and quantitative analyses, including Monte Carlo simulations. The Senior Risk Manager will maintain risk registers, evaluate and report on key risks, and support project assurance activities. This role involves close collaboration with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders, as well as providing training and guidance on risk management best practices. The position is primarily onsite at client locations, with some in-person collaboration expected. Accenture Construct is focused on delivering complex, impactful projects and fostering innovation through technology and AI.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Risk Management, or related discipline
- 8+ years of experience in project controls, risk management, or capital project delivery, preferably within the pharmaceutical or industrial sectors.

- Proficiency in Monte Carlo analysis tools (e.g., Acumen, @Risk, Safran, PRA), 12C, and project management software
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle risk processes, cost and schedule integration, and PMF (Project Management Framework)
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Capability to interpret data, forecast risk impacts, and develop actionable insights
- Collaborative, proactive, adaptable, and able to lead under uncertainty while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project and portfolio-level risk management frameworks, strategies, and governance processes.
- Facilitate risk identification, assessment, and mitigation workshops throughout all project phases.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, including Monte Carlo simulations.
- Support project teams in developing, maintaining, and executing Risk Management Plans, Risk Response Plans, and mitigation strategies.
- Maintain risk registers within enterprise systems such as Oracle Primavera Cloud (12C).
- Evaluate, monitor, and report on key risks, mitigation actions, and residual impacts.
- Lead or support project assurance activities, including Independent Project Reviews (IPRs), Health Checks, Gate Reviews, and capital funding submissions.
- Partner with Project Managers, Engineering Leads, Project Controls teams, contractors, and stakeholders to embed risk management.
- Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to strengthen risk awareness and ownership.
- Prepare executive-level risk dashboards, identify portfolio-wide trends, and drive continuous improvement.
