About The Position

The Senior Representative, Brokerage Operations delivers service to internal and external clients by settling trade and transfer obligations accurately and on time, while following policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. The role uses internal and external systems and partners with other departments to settle Federal Reserve (FED) related transactions. It also reviews and processes exceptions and performs other tasks associated with FED Settlements.

The role is part of the FED Settlements team within Fidelity’s Operations and Services Group (OSG). The team resolves transaction exceptions promptly to ensure transactions are completed for clients. OSG provides securities execution, clearance, and information management services to retail, institutional, and correspondent clients, and manages daily FED settlement activities involving U.S. Treasuries, mortgage-backed securities, and other FED-eligible securities.

Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout. Onsite expectations vary by role and location and may evolve during the rollout.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant settlement experience or 2 years of brokerage operations experience.
• Knowledge of FED settlement systems, including Bank of New York BDC, JP Morgan, and CITI Bank.
• Understanding of industry regulations.
• Attention to detail while working efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners.
• Motivation and ability to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
