About The Position

Silicon Labs is seeking a motivated, results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead their Northwest Sales Team, covering the Co, UT, WA, and W. CA markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of Silicon Labs' products into new and existing accounts, leading an experienced team of Field Sales Engineers and Field Application Engineers. This role involves building strong relationships with third-party distributors, collaborating to achieve goals, and working closely with Business Units to drive wins and roadmap changes. The manager will also be directly responsible for a few key accounts.

Requirements

  • A technology related bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Experience in semiconductor product sales
  • Proven ability to interact, influence and build relationships
  • Experience promoting and consulting across an organization
  • Strong analytical and data presentation skills
  • Strong track record of building credibility with executives & managers
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong decision-making abilities
  • Able to travel
  • Familiarity with a CRM software, Salesforce preferred
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Responsibilities

  • Manage contact with accounts, focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship
  • Contribute to the culture, values, and success of the company by establishing solid relationships with direct reports, other members of the company’s sales team, distributors and customers.
  • Exemplify high standards in communications, conduct and the execution of business.
  • Manage the expansion and retention of named accounts while ensuring ongoing customer service.
  • Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.

  • Maintain sales team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
