The Senior Recruiting Manager will play a key role in identifying the best candidates, nurturing Power Construction's culture, and making a lasting impact on the company. This role is for someone passionate about working not only in the business of construction, but on the business of Power. The position involves shaping the future of Power by finding people that fit best for the long run, not just hiring bodies, as Power's people drive their success and enhance their culture. The Senior Recruiting Manager will be responsible for shaping a better hiring experience by bringing fresh ideas and thoughtful feedback to improve how Power attracts, evaluates, and hires top talent, and will leverage social media and other digital platforms to expand their network and enhance brand visibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 8+ years of recruiting experience.
  • Construction recruiting experience is essential.
  • Experience in staffing agency and in-house recruiting environments.
  • Ability to source, attract, and hire top candidates across the construction industry.
  • Ability to build relationships and engage with people.
  • Ability to assess both technical skills and interpersonal strengths.
  • Ability to provide unbiased coaching and support to candidates.
  • Self-starter and problem solver who can see the bigger picture and take proactive steps to move things forward.
  • Ability to immerse yourself in social situations with ease, build rapport quickly, and bring confidence and approachability to every interaction.
  • Passion for building high-performing, diverse teams and engaging positively with people from all backgrounds and at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to clear, consistent communication.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source candidates and maintain warm relationships with prospective hires.
  • Engage passive candidates and spark interest in a way that feels authentic and aligned with Power's values.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students and faculty across assigned campuses.
  • Coordinate information sessions and career fairs.
  • Support intern programs and attract full-time graduates.
  • Attract candidates who bring a team-first mindset, a strong work ethic, a player-coach mentality, and a genuine passion for construction.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to stay informed on market trends, build relationships, and expand your network within the construction community.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bring creativity and marketing-minded thinking to the table.
  • Refine outreach strategies, streamline processes, and enhance candidate interactions to continuously improve the hiring experience.
  • Leverage social media and other digital platforms to expand your network and enhance brand visibility.
