About The Position

The Senior Technical Recruiter plays a critical role in partnering with our Growth Tech business leaders to develop and execute strategic hiring plans that align with organizational goals. This position leverages market data, recruiting analytics, and talent intelligence to influence sourcing strategies, interview design, and candidate evaluation processes. The role ensures a high quality candidate experience through tailored engagement and effective negotiation, while continuously improving recruitment operations and reporting. The Senior Tech Recruiter fosters strong relationships with stakeholders, drives operational excellence, and supports talent acquisition initiatives that contribute to Walmart’s long-term success. About the team: The Walmart Global Tech Talent Acquisition team drives strategic technology hiring across multiple U.S. locations for Growth Tech, supporting growth in engineering, data, product, and infrastructure. Acting as trusted advisors, the team collaborates with senior leaders on workforce planning, skill segmentation, and hiring velocity. Leveraging market intelligence, data insights, and structured assessments, they enhance hiring quality and build sustainable recruitment models. Managing complex, high volume technical recruitment, the team influences organizational design and business outcomes, fostering long-term capabilities that support Walmart’s innovation and growth objectives. What you'll do: Advise hiring managers on talent availability, compensation competitiveness, and time-to-fill trade-offs using market data and analytics. Develop and execute role-level hiring strategies aligned with business priorities and workforce planning needs. Design targeted sourcing approaches for critical skill sets, leveraging market intelligence and competitor analysis. Partner with hiring leaders to refine interview frameworks and improve candidate evaluation consistency. Create tailored candidate engagement strategies to enhance experience and maintain interest throughout hiring cycles. Negotiate competitive offers balancing compensation components within budget and band guidelines. Utilize recruiting data to identify process bottlenecks and recommend workflow improvements.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in technical recruitment and negotiation strategies within complex hiring environments.
  • Ability to advise hiring managers using market data and pipeline analytics to optimize talent acquisition outcomes.
  • Experience designing structured interview frameworks and competency models to enhance candidate evaluation consistency.
  • Skilled in leveraging recruiting analytics and CRM tools to build targeted candidate pipelines and improve engagement.
  • Strong capability to forecast hiring velocity, identify bottlenecks, and adjust strategies based on labor market insights.
  • Proficiency in negotiating competitive offers aligned with compensation bands and budget constraints.
  • Commitment to operational excellence through process improvement and technology adoption in recruitment workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related area and 2 years' experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or related area.
  • 4 years' experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or related area.
