About The Position

Bonusly is seeking a people-first Senior Recruiter with a specialization in recruiting for tech start-ups. This role involves supporting broader HR Generalist responsibilities, managing both technical and non-technical full-cycle recruiting, and assisting with people operations and light IT tasks. The position is crucial in shaping the employee journey from interview to on-boarding and beyond. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about building strong partnerships. Responsibilities include managing global recruiting, delivering an exceptional candidate experience, and contributing to Bonusly’s culture. This role serves as a trusted partner to the VP, People, senior leadership, and hiring managers, focusing on building and maintaining an exceptional recruiting and candidate experience. It offers opportunities for innovation, creativity, cross-functional collaboration, and independent leadership. The role involves representing Bonusly’s brand and values, developing and implementing recruiting strategies, and advising business leaders on innovative recruiting approaches using market insights. The candidate should be a team player who can also work autonomously, as this is an individual contributor role on a two-person People Team. Experience with implementing AI practices in HR and Recruiting is desired to help streamline workflows and processes. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact and grow with the company.

Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (including coordination and interview scheduling), covering both technical and non-technical roles (G&A, Customer Success, Sales, Product & Design, Engineering, Operations and GTM).
  • Have previous experience working in a startup or high-growth environment, where you’ve worn multiple hats and adapted quickly to change.
  • Have a track record of hitting high volume recruiting metrics (2-3 hires per month) and successfully identifying / engaging exceptional recruiting talent (esp passive candidates for outbound).
  • Are skilled at sourcing, screening, and managing candidate pipelines across multiple functions.
  • Strong data and reporting skills with a desire to work with data and recruiting metrics.
  • Have experience collaborating with, and partnering with, virtual teams, and preferably global teams.
  • Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities. Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential.
  • Have strong communication, project management and interpersonal skills working cross-functionally across all departments and with senior leadership / management.
  • Have a desire and ability to build. Create, move fast, make pivots, where needed, and execute.
  • Lead with the ability to genuinely empathize with your team, while also setting a high bar for performance
  • Have experience building, enhancing and coordinating on-boarding and off-boarding processes.
  • Are comfortable assisting with basic IT coordination, such as user account setup and provisioning access to systems and tools.
  • Ability to leverage recruiting metrics and existing technology to drive results, manage performance, drive best practice data and reporting, influence hiring decision and improve execution.
  • A track record for successfully identifying and engaging exceptional recruiting talent.
  • Innovative thinking and continuous improvement approaches.
  • Project management skills to drive bigger picture initiatives and changes, with multiple stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a scaling tech or SaaS start-up, ideally in the HRTech space.
  • Demonstrated experience with HRIS and ATS systems (Rippling is a huge plus), along with other recruiting tools such as LinkedIn and Gem.
  • Experience designing, enhancing and driving HR operations, light IT, or culture initiatives.
  • Strong project management and first-hand experience implement AI strategies in day-to-day HR & recruiting operations and practices.
  • A passion for creating inclusive, engaging employee experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle global recruiting for technical and non-technical roles, from sourcing to offer acceptance.
  • Partner closely with business leaders and hiring managers to understand function-specific needs and org design alongside VP, People, define hiring strategies, and deliver top talent.
  • Develop creative strategies and messaging for engaging top-of-funnel talent across disciplines representing Bonusly’s brand, values and culture.
  • Build relationships with candidates and strong pipeline for key roles proactively so we are ready to hire and can engage with key talent (even when roles may open down the road).
  • Proactively measure key recruiting metrics, such as time to hire, quality of hires, funnel conversion rates to help make data-driven decisions and improve our processes / candidate experience.
  • Coordinate and facilitate a welcoming and consistent on-boarding experience for new hires.
  • Support employee off-boarding to ensure a smooth, professional transition.
  • Assist with light IT & administrative tasks such as account creation, access provisioning, and coordination with internal systems to ensure smooth on-boarding and off-boarding processes.
  • Building and maintaining workflows within our HRIS (Rippling) and IT systems for compliance and to streamline processes will be key.
  • Assisting Security Committee with IT compliance annual Soc II audit and HR record keeping in Drata.
  • Assist with ad-hoc People Operations initiatives, including company get-togethers, virtual events and team engagement activities, 401k Audits, open enrollment and comp benchmarking and planning cycles.
