About The Position

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst leads quality efforts across the full development lifecycle, from defining business and functional requirements to validating end-to-end system performance. The role combines strategic planning, hands-on testing, and cross-functional collaboration to help ensure products meet technical standards and deliver strong customer experiences. As a subject matter expert and customer advocate, the analyst drives continuous improvement, champions usability, and supports compliance with business goals through manual and automated testing practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.
• At least 5 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop testing strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with organizational and industry standards.
• Document defects clearly, including reproduction steps and considered workarounds for customer issues.
• Propose process improvements and articulate implementation strategies and actionable plans.
• Design and execute manual test cases based on product knowledge and test design principles, ensuring thorough coverage and efficient use of resources.
• Use test automation tools to increase test coverage and efficiency.
• Perform end-to-end functional testing using manual and automated test executions to validate system behavior.
• Investigate production defects and represent customer requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Review product documentation for accuracy and clarity, and train others on product functionality and testing practices.
• Design tests reflecting real-world customer usage, including scenarios informed by ongoing customer feedback.
• Collaborate with User Experience teams on usability tests and contribute to creating, reviewing, and approving requirements and design documentation.
• Provide product-knowledge and customer-needs feedback on marketing requirements documents.
• Participate in inspections and reviews of non-code deliverables, particularly requirements documentation.
• Create detailed work plans for individual and project tasks, documenting goals, designs, and outcomes for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Evaluate and prioritize alternative approaches to meet objectives effectively and efficiently.
