About The Position

ASRC Federal is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to serve as the Quality Management (QM) Evaluator for a Chemical Management Services (CMS) program supporting DLA Aviation. The program provides hazardous material demand forecasting, procurement, warehousing, distribution, environmental compliance, and customer support to Department of War aviation maintenance locations. The QM Evaluator will help ensure the safe, compliant, and uninterrupted delivery of hazardous materials vital to aircraft maintenance operations across multiple locations and will lead a high-impact team supporting mission readiness. This opportunity is advertised for proposal purposes only and is contingent upon contract award and customer approval of funding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of experience executing a safety program in a Department of War environment.
• Thorough understanding of Federal, State, and local regulations and Government Data Systems, including 29 CFR Occupational Safety and Health; DLAI 4145.11 Storage and Handling of Hazardous Materials; DLAI 4145.25 Storage and Handling of Liquified and Gaseous Compressed Gases; DoDI 6050.5 DoD Hazard Communication Program, with specific focus on Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management; and Hazardous Materials Information Resource Systems (HMIRS)-H2.
• Critical thinking skills to conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across the organization.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all matters relating to program safety.
• Interpret, recommend, and comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform safety inspections and correct deficiencies.
• Perform job analysis, assess problem areas, and execute corrective actions.
• Develop and provide training, cope, enhance services, and develop new Defense logistics capabilities.
