About The Position

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst performs software quality assurance and testing in Salesforce environments, translating technical specifications into business language and creating and executing test plans, test cases, and automation scripts. The role involves functional, integration, data, and/or security testing, data comparison and validation, and defect analysis and resolution. This is a fully remote contract position based in Columbus, Ohio. It reports to a Senior Manager Applications, Manager Applications, or Lead Application Developer and has no direct reports. The work is performed in a general office setting.

Requirements

At least 5 years of Salesforce testing experience.
At least 8 years of Quality Assurance experience.
At least 8 years of programming experience with Salesforce.
Experience in software quality assurance or testing in moderate-to-large, multi-platform Salesforce environments.
Understanding of functional, integration, data, and/or security testing disciplines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including clear and concise communication and proper grammar, punctuation, diction, and style.
Ability to translate technical specifications into non-technical business language.
Experience developing moderate to complex computer system test plans and test cases.
Ability to create automation scripts and run an automation suite in Ruby.
Ability to use data comparison and validation tools such as Postman and Ruby Cucumber.
Experience identifying, defining, and quantifying problems, collecting or interpreting data, and reasoning through defect resolution.

Nice To Haves

Salesforce Administrator experience.
Salesforce Developer I certification or experience.

Responsibilities
