About The Position

ASRC Federal is seeking a Quality Management (QM) Evaluator for a mission-critical Defense logistics program supporting DLA Aviation. The role helps ensure the safe, compliant, and uninterrupted delivery of hazardous materials vital to aircraft maintenance operations across multiple locations. ASRC Federal’s Defense organization provides chemical management, logistics integration, and mission sustainment support to Department of War customers. Program services include hazardous material demand forecasting, procurement, warehousing, distribution, environmental compliance, and customer support for DoW aviation maintenance locations. This opportunity is advertised for proposal purposes only and is contingent upon contract award and customer approval of funding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of experience executing a safety program in a Department of War environment.
• Thorough understanding of Federal, State, and local regulations and Government Data Systems, including 29 CFR Occupational Safety and Health; DLAI 4145.11 Storage and Handling of Hazardous Materials; DLAI 4145.25 Storage and Handling of Liquified and Gaseous Compressed Gases; DoDI 6050.5 DoD Hazard Communication Program, with a specific focus on Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management; and Hazardous Materials Information Resource Systems (HMIRS)-H2.
• Critical thinking skills to conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across the organization.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality management evaluation for the Chemical Management Services (CMS) program.
• Manage program safety matters, including interpreting and recommending compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct safety inspections and correct deficiencies.
• Perform job analyses, assess problem areas, and execute corrective actions.
• Develop and provide training, enhance services, and develop new Defense logistics capabilities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
