About The Position

As a Senior Quality Management Systems Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, you will help ensure high standards of quality for products and processes. You will develop and implement quality assurance strategies, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction. The position reports directly to the Senior Quality Engineer Supervisor and is based onsite in Lansdale, Pennsylvania.

The role leads the internal quality auditing program for the Lansdale site, conducting internal audits in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System and the AS9100 standard. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen and improve the efficiency of the internal audit schedule, with the goal of reducing external audit findings. It also contributes to meeting regulatory requirements and exceeding customer expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance in an ISO 9001/AS9100 or equivalent regulated industry.
• Experience conducting or hosting audits in an ISO 9001/AS9100 or equivalent regulated industry.
• Proficiency in leading and performing root cause and corrective action (RCCA) for internal and external corrective action requests (CARs).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Comfort communicating with external parties.
• Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain Secret clearance.
• Must be a U.S. person under U.S. export control rules and currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience managing ESD or FOD programs.
• Experience conducting or hosting AS9100 QMS audits.
• Previous experience working for a government contractor aerospace company.
• Proficiency with TipQA software.
• Lead auditor certification for ISO 9001 and/or AS9100.
