About The Position

TLC Properties is seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to lead operations and performance across four Evanston residential communities: Main Station, Maple Grove, The Tapestry, and The Scholar. The portfolio includes more than 390 residential units. The role focuses on operational excellence, financial performance, team development, and resident experience, including driving occupancy and revenue, managing budgets, developing on-site teams, and maintaining high standards across each community. The position is based in Evanston, Illinois, and reports to the Vice President of Operations – Urban North. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays required. Compensation is $30–$37 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus quarterly bonus potential.

Requirements

At least 3 years of property management experience, including leadership and multi-site management experience.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple residential properties or a large residential portfolio.
Strong understanding of property operations, leasing, budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue management.
Proven ability to lead, develop, and hold teams accountable.
Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
