About The Position
Michels Energy Solutions, Inc. (MES) is the general contracting and prime contractor arm of Michels, delivering complex energy and industrial infrastructure projects across North America. MES provides turnkey project execution, using Michels' self-perform capabilities to manage construction from planning and procurement through field execution and project closeout. Its areas of expertise include pipelines, gas distribution systems, compressor and pump stations, industrial facilities, utility infrastructure, and energy-related construction. The Senior Project Manager leads multiple projects to ensure profitable and timely completion. The role manages teams and resources to meet safety, quality, and budget expectations and builds and maintains strong client and subcontractor relationships through proactive communication and collaboration. Frequent travel to project sites is required.
Requirements
- 10+ years of project management experience, preferably in pipeline, energy, or heavy civil construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project scheduling software.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on client satisfaction and project profitability.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with B2W is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
