About The Position

ZipStaff is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to drive moderately complex projects and components of larger transformation initiatives for a major financial technology organization. The role is accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope while leading and coordinating cross-functional, cross-departmental, and cross-company teams. The project manager will manage 3–5 projects concurrently in a high-speed environment and collaborate with Business Analysts, application developers, testing, documentation, and training teams. The work may include exposure to innovative technologies such as robotics. The position is an on-site contract role in Omaha, Nebraska, with W2 employment through ZipStaff. Candidates must be able to work on-site. Pure research or junior experience will not be considered.

Requirements

At least 5 years of project management experience driving moderately complex projects or components of larger initiatives.
Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional and cross-departmental teams.
Experience managing 3–5 projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project, Confluence, and Clarity.
Experience preparing executive readouts and tracking risks, issues, and dependencies.
Experience collaborating with Business Analysts, application developers, testing, documentation, and training teams.
Ability to work on-site in Omaha, Nebraska.

Nice To Haves

Background supporting transformation or modernization projects in a financial technology or payments environment.
Exposure to innovative technologies such as robotics or automation.
Experience with both technical and non-technical project components.
Prior work in high-speed delivery environments with clear accountability for scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

Drive moderately complex projects and components or phases of larger projects from initiation to closure.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, and cross-company teams responsible for project delivery.
Manage 3–5 projects concurrently as part of a high-speed transformation initiative.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, application developers, testing teams, and other stakeholders on requirements, documentation, and delivery.
Support documentation, training, and knowledge-transfer activities.
Track risks, issues, and dependencies and maintain clear visibility for leadership.
Prepare and deliver executive readouts and status communications.
Use Microsoft Project, Confluence, and Clarity for planning, documentation, and project tracking.
Work with innovative technologies such as robotics as part of the broader transformation scope.
