The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects or programs with multiple integrated projects including defining, planning, and ensuring execution of all tasks necessary to meet project objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
All candidates must be U.S. citizens.
Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter.
All candidates must be able to pass a drug test in compliance with FMP company policy and 10 CFR 707.

Nice To Haves

Experience collaborating with NR, NNL project offices, and major suppliers.
Experience with the NNL business cycle including the PSB process, confirmation and TWP processes.
Experience with oversight of shipyard work
Experience with SOF coordination
Experience with NNL Financial Systems processes such as charge code management, deliverable creation, and DCR submittals

Responsibilities

Creating and maintaining the Carrier and Fleet Programs Team infrastructure
Obtaining necessary resources to staff and support the Program
Defining Program scope and work breakdown structure
Evaluating change requests and approving or rejecting as appropriate
Managing overall costs versus budget
Managing subcontracted relationships
Identifying and mitigating project risks
Interfacing with and integrating the efforts of stakeholders, support personnel and line management to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Oversight of Carrier and Fleet Programs planning, budgeting, and execution.
Source of Fund management, Financial Process management, monitoring and oversight of Newport News Propulsion and Reactor Engineering Planning Yard financial performance.
