About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its Human Resources Administration team. Based at Fairbanks Hall in a hybrid capacity, this role leads high-priority, complex, enterprise-wide project portfolios that support and advance the organization’s talent strategy. The Senior Project Manager partners strategically with the Chief of Staff, HR, and Human Resources Vice Presidents to frame, organize, and execute critical HR business initiatives.

This role applies formal project management methodologies to ambiguous work, providing structure, rigor, quality assurance, resource oversight, and reporting frameworks. The manager ensures milestones are delivered within scope and on schedule while remaining aligned with future organizational needs. The ideal candidate communicates effectively, supports transformational change, and can move between operational execution and strategic planning in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent years of experience.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working in a complex, matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Standardize, structure, and drive complex HR and talent strategy initiatives across the enterprise, aligning current work with future strategic positioning.
• Apply disciplined project management methodologies to turn ambiguous ideas into clear, executable, and reportable project plans.
• Build trusted relationships with HR Vice Presidents, executives, and cross-functional project teams.
• Provide continuous project updates, manage delivery expectations, and navigate project challenges.
• Use organizational transformation experience to audit workflows, introduce governance, and guide teams toward modernized, structured processes.
• Oversee quality assurance, resources, and reporting frameworks to support delivery within scope and on schedule.
