Senior Project Manager

Daisy•New York, NY
•$130,000 - $160,000

About The Position

Daisy is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to advise condo and co-op boards on complex capital projects from initial scope through closeout. The role leads project planning and contractor negotiations, protects buildings through strong contracts and project controls, and builds board confidence to secure new engagements. The Senior Project Manager will develop Daisy’s project management practice by setting standards, mentoring project managers on complex projects and board interactions, and establishing controls for signed contracts, change orders, budgets, and reporting. The role works alongside property managers who know each building firsthand to bring informed, hands-on expertise to each project. The position leads high-stakes capital projects such as façade, roof, building-system, and major interior upgrades; advises boards on costs, schedules, risks, and tradeoffs; and partners with sales and property management teams to shape scope and secure engagements. It may also resolve troubled projects or strained board relationships and lead insurance-loss rebuilds with insurers, adjusters, design professionals, and contractors. The role oversees procurement, bid reviews, contractor and design-professional negotiations, contracts, change orders, payments, risk management, vendor disputes and claims, and NYC Department of Buildings filings and approvals. The Senior Project Manager establishes project delivery standards and playbooks, mentors project managers and coordinators, reviews complex projects, implements project controls, and uses project lessons and market insights—including contractor performance, pricing, and NYC code changes—to improve team practices. The role requires regular site visits across NYC. Compensation is $130,000–$160,000 depending on experience and qualifications, plus a competitive benefits package and equity.
