About The Position

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) is responsible for coordinating and managing clinical trials from start-up through closeout. The role directs the technical, financial, and operational aspects of projects to support their successful completion. In collaboration with major functional area leads and with support from Project Management Directors, the SPM identifies and evaluates project issues, interprets complex data, makes business decisions, and ensures solutions are implemented. The SPM is accountable for ensuring deliverables meet customer and contract expectations for time, quality, and cost. The position focuses on oncology clinical projects and may require travel.

Requirements

6–7 years of industry experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a Clinical Project Management role within a CRO setting.
Oncology experience in a Project Management role.
High level of responsibility and accountability.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to perform effectively in demanding situations.
Thorough knowledge of project management processes and a solid understanding of crafting and managing project budgets.
Demonstrated experience successfully managing and/or leading multidisciplinary project teams.
Ability to travel when needed.
