Senior Project Manager - Land Development
About The Position
Fuscoe Engineering is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support its Irvine office. The role contributes to land development projects and includes responsibility for the success of a profit center through involvement in team design, production, quality, training, and employee performance. The Senior Project Manager represents the firm in client meetings, defines project scopes, prepares fees and proposals, conducts site investigations, and establishes schedules. The position also supports business development and client relationships, and manages up to two Project Managers who supervise a total of 4 to 8 employees within the Engineering teams. Fuscoe is a 100% employee-owned civil engineering firm with 225 employee-owners across five Southern California offices. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university.
- At least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager.
- PE certification.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and team-building skills.
- Ability to manage a land development project from start to finish, from entitlements through construction support.
- Motivation, curiosity, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Manage and participate in team design, production, quality, training, and employee performance to achieve profit center success.
- Represent the firm in meetings with clients.
- Determine project scope of work, prepare fees, conduct site investigations, and establish schedules.
- Prepare proposal materials, review them with a Principal or another Project Manager, and finalize proposals.
- Participate in business development for prospective clients and maintain relationships with current clients.
- Manage up to two Project Managers who supervise a total of 4 to 8 employees within the Engineering teams.
