About The Position

This is a Traveling Mechanical Senior Project Manager role for a top national mechanical contractor. The company works on major projects such as professional sports venues, major hospitals, manufacturing facilities, power plants, concert venues, and mission-critical facilities across the country. These are long-term project assignments with a national contractor offering continued opportunities after each project. The role requires proven mechanical project management experience with a mechanical contractor, managing mechanical scopes exceeding $20M with strong knowledge in HVAC, piping, plumbing, or sheet metal. The candidate will have cradle-to-grave PM experience including budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, change management, forecasting, client relationships, field coordination, prefabrication, commissioning, and closeout. The ability to lead complex project teams and work directly with GCs, owners, design teams, field leadership, vendors, and subcontractors is essential. A willingness to travel for major projects is required.

Requirements

  • Proven Mechanical Project Management experience with a mechanical contractor.
  • Large-project experience, managing mechanical scopes exceeding $20M.
  • Strong HVAC, piping, plumbing, or sheet metal knowledge.
  • Strong cradle-to-grave PM experience including budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, change management, forecasting, client relationships, field coordination, prefabrication, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Ability to lead complex project teams and work directly with GCs, owners, design teams, field leadership, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Willingness to travel for major projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate field operations, prefabrication, commissioning, and project closeout.

  • Travel for major projects.
