The Senior Project Coordinator will oversee the safe and effective delivery of all production activities related to furniture, delivery, installation, warehouse, and reconfiguration services. This is a full-time onsite position in our San Jose location.

Requirements

  • Available to work nights and weekends
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as product quantity, time records, and actual hour worked versus estimated.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Windows 365, Apps and other necessary company software applications.
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Five to seven years related experience and/or training in office moving and installation and furniture planning; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and provide on-site job inspections of delivery installations and reconfigurations.
  • Oversee the crew and installation process specified in the scope of work.
  • Act as the point of contact with the client.
  • Direct the order and assignment of work duties.
  • Coordinate with the company sales, admin, and operations staff.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met and within budget.
  • Execute client specific workflow processes.
  • Schedule installers based upon project requirements.
  • Perform Quality Control and punch list; set and monitor work performance standard.
  • Perform pre-install and post-install walk-thru for installation projects.
  • Facilitate and/or attend project related meetings.
  • Manage, document, and communicate job changes to appropriate parties.
  • Participate in monthly account financial review to identify trends and opportunities for financial improvement.
  • Work with Safety Coordinator to ensure we compliant with our environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
