About The Position
The Senior Program Manager will join MoonPay’s Product Operations team and partner cross-functionally with senior leaders on high-impact strategic projects and analysis. The role involves identifying, structuring, and acting on challenging strategic and operational opportunities, while using AI to build scalable systems and processes that multiply impact. The position supports MoonPay’s products and business through strategic planning, quantitative analysis, cross-functional execution, customer and market insight, and operational improvement. The role is supported in US Eastern hours and is hybrid, with some time required in the New York office; the posting also describes remote or hybrid arrangements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years leading complex cross-functional programs across Product or Engineering and business teams such as Legal, Compliance, IT/Security, Finance, or Operations in high-growth crypto, fintech, financial services, or technology environments.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to explain rationale, align senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Risk, IT/Security, Finance, Data, and GTM, and influence without direct authority.
- Ability to manage teams and stakeholders who may be resistant to additional process.
- Strong operational planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, and program governance skills in fast-moving and changing environments.
- Ability to structure ambiguous, high-impact initiatives from concept through delivery, shaping work before it becomes an execution risk and defining measurable outcomes.
- Strong analytical instincts and ability to use data, business context, and quantitative analysis to guide prioritization and operational decisions.
- Experience building scalable processes, workflows, governance models, and automation systems that improve execution velocity without creating unnecessary overhead.
- Fluency with AI tools and automation platforms, with demonstrated application to productivity, reporting, and execution.
- Detail-oriented, action-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement of operational processes.
- Enthusiasm for creating excellent customer experiences, streamlining complex programs, mentoring high performers, and serving as a culture carrier in a fast-paced organization.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and prioritize high-impact strategic and operational opportunities, owning them from scoping through execution.
- Work with product, engineering, and go-to-market leaders to define and implement strategy across MoonPay products, driving value for users, customers, and the business.
- Structure complex, ambiguous strategic problems for MoonPay’s leadership team, develop hypotheses, and build business cases and quantitative models to inform decisions.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to define and manage key business performance drivers, identify opportunities, and incorporate them into work.
- Assess peer businesses and develop insights about competitive positioning to inform recommendations.
- Develop a deep understanding of MoonPay customers and the broader market to uncover insights for recommendations.
- Use AI tools and automation to create scalable solutions that balance ambitious possibilities with practical constraints.
