Senior Program Manager, Learning Content Programs NetSuite

Oracle•United States,
•$90,100 - $209,500

About The Position

NetSuite Customer Education creates learning experiences that help customers use products effectively and realize greater value from their investment. The Senior Program Manager sets the strategic direction, standards, and operating model for a growing portfolio of learning content, leading programs from intake through publication and defining how the program management function operates. The role works with senior leaders and cross-functional partners—including instructional designers, learning strategists, curriculum program leads, subject matter experts, multimedia and editorial teams, analytics, in-application learning, and go-to-market stakeholders—to deliver programs on schedule and ensure customers can use the resulting learning assets. This strategic, hands-on program leadership role oversees a broad portfolio of production workstreams, establishes intake, scoping, and review practices, and makes decisions amid ambiguity and limited precedent. Occasional editing may be used to prototype formats or establish standards, but editing is not the core function. The position has no direct reports, though it coaches and mentors producers, editors, designers, and less experienced program and production staff, and may coordinate other personnel. The position is open in the United States and Canada, with a strong preference for candidates located in Austin, Texas, or Nashville, Tennessee. Travel may be up to 10%.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience managing content, video, or multimedia programs, with accountability for scope, schedule, and delivery across multiple contributors and experience leading a portfolio rather than a single program.
  • Experience establishing a program or function and operating without an existing playbook.
  • Experience facilitating working sessions with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts, documenting direction, decisions, and next steps, and maintaining a recommendation when challenged by a senior stakeholder.
  • Experience planning schedules for multiple concurrent programs and managing cross-functional dependencies.
  • Demonstrated experience building and documenting repeatable production processes, including standard operating procedures, templates, review gates, and quality standards.
  • Experience directing non-professional on-camera talent remotely and coaching subject matter experts toward natural, credible delivery.
  • Ability to turn dense technical or written source material into a clear instructional sequence with a stated learner outcome.
  • Practical experience with AI-assisted tools in content and video workflows, such as rough assembly, transcript cleanup, audio repair, captioning, assisted animation, upscaling, prompt libraries, or other repetitive production tasks.
  • Working proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects sufficient to set production standards, review work, and prototype a format.
  • Sound judgment about instructional structure, with a clear learner outcome and a rationale for every minute of runtime.
  • Familiarity with timestamped video review platforms and project intake and tracking tools.
  • Professional written and spoken English; the role produces English-language video content.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent programs, respond constructively to feedback, and meet deadlines during United States business hours.
  • Bachelor's degree in education, learning and development, communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience preparing or publishing video assets for eLearning or learning-management-system environments.
  • On-camera presentation or voiceover experience.
  • Experience supporting learning or enablement content for a business software audience.
  • Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite, enterprise resource planning concepts, or software product education.
  • Proficiency with project-management and collaboration tools such as Wrike, Jira, and SharePoint, and with presentation tools.
  • Experience mentoring or developing other program managers, producers, or editors.

Responsibilities

  • Own learning content programs end to end, from intake and scoping through production, review, publication, and post-release review.
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute a broad portfolio of learning content initiatives, directing schedules for multiple concurrent programs.
  • Partner with global cross-functional teams to capture requirements, navigate dependencies and organizational priorities, and optimize critical paths.
  • Facilitate intake and scoping sessions and document the learning objective, modality, audience, success measure, and owner for each deliverable.
  • Translate leadership direction and subject-matter input into actionable production briefs covering learning objectives, outlines, script direction, capture requirements, and review checkpoints.
  • Prepare product and industry experts for capture and direct remote recording sessions, coaching participants toward natural on-camera delivery and efficient recording.
  • Review recordings, transcripts, and technical source material to identify teaching sequences and shape outlines for production.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, assign owners, follow through on mitigation plans, and escalate unresolved risks and issues as needed.
  • Influence internal and external teams to prioritize work and manage review, revision, status, and sign-off across instructional design, multimedia, editorial, analytics, in-application learning, and go-to-market partners.
  • Establish scalable processes and tools for end-to-end program delivery, applying project-management standards and documentation best practices.
  • Write and maintain standard operating procedures, production and brand standards, review checkpoints, and reusable templates.
  • Maintain reporting across programs, lead standups and sprint planning for owned programs, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage and analyze program budgets, including spending and forecasts against budget, spend per program, and historical trends; forecast production capacity against the roadmap and surface resource conflicts early.
  • Map how short instructional assets, long-form courses, and supporting materials connect across the learning platform and approved public-facing learning channels, giving learners a clear next step.
  • Conduct post-release reviews with analytics to assess asset performance and apply findings to future programs.
  • Set priorities across the content portfolio when demand exceeds capacity, deciding what to build, defer, or retire.
  • Represent learning content programs to senior leadership, presenting portfolio status, trade-offs, and recommendations.
  • Determine methods and procedures for new assignments with little precedent and define the operating model for the wider team.
  • Coach producers, editors, and designers in reviews and working sessions; mentor less experienced program and production staff; and coordinate other personnel as needed.
  • Use AI technologies throughout content and video workflows to promote innovation and improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making.
