•$138,080 - $230,040•Remote

About The Position

As a Professional Services Engineer at GitLab, you will partner with public sector customers to help them adopt and expand GitLab across their organizations. You will deliver installation, migration, training, and advisory engagements, supporting environments ranging from single-node Omnibus installations to larger reference architectures built with infrastructure as code and configuration as code. The role combines hands-on technical delivery, clear communication, and project ownership, helping customers make practical choices suited to their goals, timelines, and environments. You will work across multiple customer engagements in a remote, largely asynchronous environment and collaborate with project managers and engagement managers to make delivery more consistent. You will also share customer insights with GitLab product and engineering teams to help resolve blockers and improve features and delivery processes. The role requires an active Secrets or TS/SCI (or other) clearance and U.S. citizenship due to the nature of the public sector customers supported. Occasional travel to SCIF sites may be required.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required due to government security requirements.
  • Ability to support public sector customers with TS/SCI clearance-related requirements for their environments and engagements.
