About The Position

Cyberhaven is seeking a highly skilled, customer-focused Professional Services Engineer to work with clients to understand technical requirements, diagnose issues, and deliver effective solutions. The role involves analyzing log files, troubleshooting and debugging complex problems, and providing consulting services. The engineer will lead implementation, configuration, and integration of Cyberhaven’s product, and provide client training and support so customers can maximize the value of the solution.

The engineer will collaborate with clients and internal teams throughout deployment, provide strategic guidance and best practices, and act as a point of contact for client escalations. The role also involves monitoring product and industry developments to provide clients with informed technical guidance. Cyberhaven describes itself as building data security for the Agentic Enterprise and says it is backed by $250 million from investors including Khosla and Redpoint. The candidate location preference is in the Central or Eastern time zones.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Delivery Manager, or Professional Services professional, with endpoint security experience in the cybersecurity and DLP space.
• Track record of delivering complex technical solutions, preferably in Professional Services or consulting, specifically involving endpoint security products.
• Understanding of data classification methodologies and techniques for identifying sensitive data and defining DLP policies.
• Ability to manage projects against strict timelines, prioritize work, and build mitigation strategies.
• Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting SaaS-based security and/or endpoint agent technologies.
• Software debugging skills.
• Knowledge of web technologies, APIs, and data integration techniques.
• Understanding of system architecture, network protocols, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Practical knowledge of macOS, including MDM, app management, and basic terminal skills.
• Practical knowledge of Windows, including SCCM, GPO, Intune, registry configuration, and PowerShell scripts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and build cross-functional relationships.
• Knowledge of system software design, including services, drivers, and agents.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, equivalent advanced industry certifications, or at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with DLP solutions such as Forcepoint, Symantec, McAfee DLP, Fortra (Digital Guardian), Trend Micro, Check Point, Next DLP, or Proofpoint.
• Experience using and creating AI agents, such as Claude Code, Glean, or Monday.
• Candidate located in the Central or Eastern time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and configuration to integrate and deploy Cyberhaven’s solution in clients’ existing environments.
• Work with clients to understand technical requirements, diagnose issues, and develop customized dataset and policy solutions.
• Analyze log files and use debugging and advanced troubleshooting to identify causes of complex problems and coordinate resolutions with Support, Engineering, and Operations.
• Partner with developers, project managers, support staff, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
• Deliver technical training to end users to help them use Cyberhaven effectively and improve workflows and return on investment.
• Advise clients on strategy, best practices, and ways to maximize product value.
• Conduct client progress updates, status meetings, and post-implementation reviews; serve as an internal and external point of contact for client escalations.
• Collaborate with development and support teams to escalate and resolve technical issues or system discrepancies.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and product advancements to provide clients with relevant guidance.
