  • Familiarity with lifecycle marketing tools (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Customer.io) and experience briefing lifecycle teams.
  • Experience in a startup/early-stage environment, specifically building PMM processes while shipping.
  • Experience creating repeatable systems and implementing them through influence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop differentiated positioning grounded in customer insight and competitive reality.
  • Build messaging frameworks that scale across various assets like one-pagers, sales decks, lifecycle emails, and in-app copy.
  • Partner with the Director of PMM on narrative architecture for major releases and maintain messaging consistency across all platforms.
  • Own launch planning and execution end-to-end, including scoping releases, writing briefs, building timelines, and driving readiness.
  • Coordinate across Product, Marketing, Growth, Lifecycle, and Creative teams.
  • Translate the product roadmap into sequenced Go-To-Market (GTM) plans with clear ownership.
  • Set and manage the release cadence to ensure appropriate marketing support for each launch.

  • Feed learnings back into the product roadmap and positioning strategies.
  • Lead in-product messaging strategy (tooltips, empty states, onboarding flows, feature announcements) in collaboration with Product.
  • Support product-led growth by identifying friction points, surfacing upgrade opportunities, and driving activation/conversion.
  • Ensure alignment between in-product and out-of-product messaging with the Lifecycle team.
  • Act as a trusted day-to-day partner to Product, Growth, Lifecycle, and Creative teams.
