About The Position

UKG is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to initiate and collaborate on positioning, content, and go-to-market execution for their HCM and Payroll product lines. This is a builder role where you will develop slides, stories, battlecards, and launch plans. You will act as a key team player between Product Management, Sales, and Marketing, ensuring products are clearly positioned and sales teams are fully enabled to win. The ideal candidate is someone who can identify what needs to be done and drive it independently, while also working effectively within a small team and across a large, cross-functional organization. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in product marketing or a closely related field (SaaS/B2B strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on content creator — comfortable building slides, one-pagers, and enablement assets yourself
  • Strong project management skills; proven ability to manage multiple workstreams with competing deadlines
  • Self-starter who can identify what needs to be done and execute without waiting for direction
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator — comfortable working across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance in a matrixed environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong storytelling instincts

Nice To Haves

  • HCM, Payroll, or HR tech experience a plus
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Confluence, Jira , or similar) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop differentiated messaging and value propositions for HCM and Payroll products
  • Build and maintain persona frameworks and product capability maps
  • Create competitive differentiation materials — battlecards, competitive decks, ROI narratives
  • Develop compelling stories tied to measurable HR and Payroll business outcomes
  • Lead market segmentation and ICP definition for select HCM and Payroll products
  • Compile competitive research and monitor market trends to sharpen positioning
  • Map customer journeys across HR, Payroll, and Finance buyer and user personas
  • Gather and synthesize field feedback from Sales and act as the voice of the customer to Product Management
  • Perform opportunity sizing and whitespace analysis to identify growth areas
  • Own end-to-end product launches for HCM and Payroll, from planning through post-launch measurement
  • Partner with Pricing and GTM on packaging, tiering, and monetization input
  • Build and maintain core sales enablement content — decks, one-pagers, demo guides, FAQs
  • Define launch success metrics and track post-launch adoption
  • Serve as an operational hub for product marketing: manage intake, prioritization, and content calendars
  • Build and maintain project tracking systems that keep launches and campaigns on schedule
  • Coordinate across Marketing, Product, and Sales to ensure cross-functional alignment and on-time delivery
  • Create scalable templates and repeatable processes that increase team output and consistency
  • Act as a trusted partner to Product Management, feeding in customer and market insights to influence roadmap
  • Translate field learnings into actionable recommendations for Sales strategy and positioning
  • Support executive-level presentations as needed
