About The Position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager, FinOps for AI Go-to-Market, owns the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for FinOps for AI. The role shapes and brings to market the story and guidance that help customers forecast, govern, and optimize AI spending so they can fund additional workloads. The manager builds awareness and credibility through customer proof, advocacy, influencers, community, events, social, web, and in-product experiences, using customer signals to guide investment. The role develops partner strategy and creates field and partner enablement materials with the teams that sell. It coordinates one consistent FinOps for AI story across product, pricing and offers, cost management, and web teams, and establishes a shared measurement plan. The position works within Microsoft's cross-company FinOps for AI program, collaborating with workstream leads and executive sponsors on a set planning cadence. The role also develops messaging and go-to-market strategies around AI tokenomics, connecting AI consumption and cost optimization to business value through a FinOps lens. The successful candidate is a strong marketer with experience taking a story to market and landing it with sales and partners; prior FinOps expertise is not required, but the role calls for learning the subject quickly. A customer destination and core field content are planned to launch in the fall, with subsequent scaling through field and partner channels in the second half of the year.
